There are those of you that are accusing her of "stealing" from me, that she copied my work "Eyes of the Night"

I am here to say that, no, she did not. There are similarities to be sure, but she has already stated that this is a tribute to some of her favorite anthro artists, including me, and no part of this is directly copied from any piece of art or any artist. Copying anyone was not her intention, and I think the piece is coming along beautifully. I hope she finishes it!
You are all entitled to your opinions, but please, -knock it off-. Would you just let artists create already? We artists will find out if someone is directly stealing from us, believe me, but this petty "this pose looks vaguely like the one so-and-so used over here" or "that hand/foot/eyeball/species" or "that style looks like so-and-so's" is getting ridiculous and is extremely childish. I thank all of you for looking out for my artwork (as do the rest of the artists you admire) but you really need to cool it DA.
Otherwise, I hope you all have a very Merry Christmas, Blessed Yule, Happy Kwanza, and all the other Holidays. May they be very merry and bright ^.^

There are maybe a few billion way's to draw something. That doesn't look alike. There are probably more than a billion drawings and not everything has been drawn yet, so the chances that, even when you draw something without reference, there is already something that looks like what you made.
Also, what you draw is influenced by what you've seen in your life. Every picture, drawing or real world object you see influences what and how you draw.
