Just a portrait of a generic tiger to be sold at FC this winter. Note that he sports true retractile claws (though they aren't as retracted looking as I would have liked. Oh well). Those were a bit interesting to draw ;)

Wow, that's just amazing. Is this Prismacolor pencil? Even the background? It almost seems like you could reach out and pet that fur, it's so realistic. There's something odd about the paw/hand though, the almost homogeneous folds on all the fingers don't mesh well with the positioning of the hand. When you bend a finger, or in this case press down, the skin/fur folds in several places, not just just one single smooth glomp. Something like this is SO minor though, I don't think many people will notice. And the eyes just draw you right to the face to begin with, so you're too awestruck at first to notice. I've just been looking at this for a while now ^_^

Beautiful work. Some of the comments here are shocking. "Awesome" I would answer the same, but I would just prefer to say that this is some good work. It's amazing pencil work, and you find that is a rare thing on deviantART.

The detail of the fur is amazing. Great work. Keep this up!
