A maned wolf [link] swears a sword oath to her goddess. My part of a long overdue art trade with Dark Natasha. Watercolor and colored pencil on 15 1/2" X 12 1/2" Bristol paper.

The Oath by *Goldenwolf is a gorgeous rendition of an anthropomorphized wolf. But don't be fooled into thinking this is just another anthro piece---this viewer finds it too exacting in its detail and steeped in mysticism to attribute it as such; and our featured deviant seems to feel the same. (Suggested by ~wall-flower and Featured by `oedalis)

wow... is it just me or did Goldenwolf just make a HUGE leap! Damn! this is amazing, Goldie! Normally I enjoy looking at your work, but I'm not exactly you biggest fan, but wow... this has me shocked! The detail and color in it is so rich and vibrant, this piece is absolutely shocking and beautiful!

Wonderful!! nice work on the textures and hair, the look definatly fits the breed well ( They are strange members of the wolf familly, so fox-like )

That is so gorgeous. I admire your talent so much I can't see a single flaw in that picture. I'm sure, as the artist, you could probably point out one or two but I'd still be in complete awe. I love your work...
