Raven, envious of the night sky, waits for stars to fall from the heavens. When they do he collects them and adorns himself with the sparkling gems so that he may be as beautiful as a night full of stars.

Watercolor, colored pencil, and white acrylic paint on 9X12 Bristol paper.

this is quite a wonderful piece. i love the raven's face and the glare from the stars.
too bad raven doesn't realize it's already beautiful.
