Wow, I hadn't realized that I didn't have this one on DA!
So here is "Spirits Calling" (it used to be titled "Spirit Howl"), a piece I did for a spiritual retreat of sorts back in 2003. I wanted to represent North American animals but with representations of many spiritual, shamanic beliefs (not just Native American). It turned out to be so neat looking I recently decided to do an arctic version, which became "Arctic Treasures". I also have in mind several other versions along the same theme using different animals, including an African and a Rainforest theme. Original is Watercolor and Colored Pencil on 11 X 14 Bristol Paper. |

We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on.
