Artist's Comments

She is the Lady of Twilight, a magical time between day and night when the world prepares to sleep, and awaken. The day birds roost in her crown for protection during the long night. Her attendants are various wild sprites and evening creatures, and her barn owl familiar on her fist acts as her eyes into the other realms.

Watercolor, colored pencil, and acrylics on 11 X 14 Bristol paper. Original is adorned with glitter paint, iridescent interference paint, and swarovski crystal rhinestones. Prints are available on my website at [link]

Can you imagine trying to take that outfit off? That poor woman,if she ever wants a shower.

Reguardless,this is quite lovely. The only thing I can even think to say is that the nose looks a tiny bit strange... but I think that's more due to the contrast of that mask against such a delicate part of the face rather than an issue with the drawing itself. Y'know?
