Firebird Starfeatherby *Goldenwolf

Here is an iridescent feather from a Firebird! Actually it is a dyed craft feather that I painted with hues of what I think a Firebird feather might look like. Everything is iridescent with a Swarovski crystal "star"!

Feather is 12" tip to tip, and tassels are 15" long.

This feather is SOLD!

Starfeathers are painted imitation Eagle, Hawk, and Owl feathers (or otherwise legal feathers) are decorated with acrylic interference paint and Swarovski crystals, then wrapped with multicolored yarn and ribbon. You can wear them in your hair, hang them on a wall, decorate a staff, use them for ritual, or whatever you want!

This is a "legal" feather. It is dyed turkey feather available in any craft store.

Hey Goldywoof! Do you spread glue over the feather before you paint it? I've tried feather painting before but the feather fibers keep separating! HELP!
